After a long and ridiculously stressful week I decided to go and play poker despite having a late night before, early start and working until the early hours of the evening.

The game was NL Hold'em (round Patrick's - great venue), £25 freezeout - 10k starting stack and 20 minute levels. Awesome structure.

After only 3 rounds I'm on the button with Q8. I raise 4xBB, I have no idea why - I just felt like it! The flop comes a Queen and a Jack with 2 hearts. It's checked to me and I bet pot. I get raised by Chris about 3x my bet and I re-raise all-in in hope he has a flush draw and maybe a pair (no reading whatsoever ... again 'because I felt like it'!). He calls and turns over JJ for a set of jacks. His jacks held and he won the pot sending me home.

It was the most embarrassing moment of my poker career. I was the 1st out and had to walk out the door with everyone looking at me. The only consolation was that everyone appeared surprised - I hope it's because I'm considered to be a good player?

Glen - DON'T PLAY POKER IF YOU'RE F-ING TIRED !!!!

I'm waiting on some important news that will change my life so I'm a little distracted at the moment to say the least.
